Our Staycation Challenge: Can you do the #shuffle?

People across the world have been doing numerous tutorial videos of the shuffle dance on popular social media platforms and most recently had a revival on TikTok in 2018. #shuffle alone has reached 4.6 billion views on TikTok as of this writing.

The shuffle dance move (also known as "The Melbourne Shuffle") has been around since the 1980s and has seen a resurgence in popularity across mainstream electronic music festivals. The dance originated in the Melbourne rave scene and was typically performed to electronic music.

Practice daily one day one step at a time.

With just a little bit of practice everyday, anyone can do this move. Challenge yourself to learn the shuffle or any other dance move by the time the home quarantine is over. It's never too late (or even too early) to learn something new! Maybe even try posting a video just for fun? :)

Be Consistent.

Even a few minutes of practice can be effective as long as you remain consistent and work to improve a little each time. If you find yourself a little bit anxious, low in spirits or generally not in a good mood, we recommend our Energy Blended Essential Oil to help give your mood some extra boost. Blended from Geranium and Rosemary essential oils, its aroma can stimulate the senses for reduced anxiety and improved mood, concentration, performance, speed, and accuracy.

Share the Challenge.

Invite a family member to do the challenge with you. If you live alone, connect with a friend through social media or other forms of communication channels and invite them to try it with you. Now maybe the perfect opportunity to have a little fun with family or virtually with friends; no one is ever too far these days. :)
