It had only been more than a week since the lockdown. As we continue to see that the number of cases continues to increase, and some of the heartbreaking stories shared across social media, overwhelming sadness, and a feeling of helplessness and uncertainty can get to us. Most of us are feeling a mix of emotions daily.
As we all fight through our internal battles, let's learn to acknowledge these feelings, channel them into positive energy, and DO something for the greater good.
For the financially able, we challenge you to support our health workers and other frontliners by donating. No amount is too little, give whatever you can. For the rest, even sharing and spreading the word can also go a long way.
Here are three organizations you can donate to for a start. We took care to verify and check the official sanctioned institutions and agencies on this list. There are many more organizations and other institutions organizing calls for donations; we recommend that you carefully research and verify the relevant sanctioned agencies. We will update this post as we find out more.
